In response to audience requests, VOA will expand the Amharic program to one hour daily and change broadcast times for the Afan Oromo and Tigrigna programs. The changes begin September 12 and will include a listener-request music show, features for younger listeners, and common frequencies.
Thanks to all Ethiopians who signed the petition  to extend VOA Amharic weekday broadcast to one full hour.
